Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior System Engineer at Global Marine Technology Services Limited. The role involves tasks such as systems design and engineering, troubleshooting, system administration, technical support, and development. While the position is primarily located in Auckland, New Zealand, there is flexibility for some remote work. This role requires someone who is willing to travel 60-120 days a year outside Auckland.

Thiis role is suitable for someone new to IT, or with a few years experience.

Qualifications

• Must have NZ Permanent Resident Visa, or be a NZ Citizen
• Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support abilities
• System Administration proficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity principles
• Experience with remote monitoring and IoT technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Formal education is not a requirement, real world experience is a plus.
