Position Description
As a leading wholesaler and distributor of marine products, our business requires a Sales Support person to serve our growing customer
base.
We are seeking an individual with a knowledge of boating and marine equipment, who has enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a solution orientated
approach to challenges.

Tenob Wholesale Marine is proudly 100% owned and operated. We are a leading importer and distributor of quality marine products, having serviced the Marine Industry for over 50 years. Our long-established leading brand "Tenob" is highly regarded by our large customer base and we have gained a reputation for our excellent relationships with both customers and suppliers, locally and internationally.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Actively provide sales support for the company’s products. You will be responsible for quoting pricing and processing sales, monitoring stock and
responding to customers’ requests and enquiries.
Stock management and warehousing
Processing of orders and enquiries
Working closely with the family of B2B customers such as boat builders, trades and professional skippers to boat owners in a friendly and timely
manner.
Assist with boat shows and other events as required
Facilitate teamwork offer exceptional customer experience
Following the internal processes to ensure all necessary administration requirements are completed
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and a knowledge or ability to learn about B2B and website
Technical – providing technical support to customers installers and repairs and end users of the full product range
Skills and attributes required
· Technical mechanical or electrical product knowledgeis ideal and marine equipment /engineering knowledge advantageous. Sales and
Marine equipment knowledge can be taught to the right person
· Ability to build a working knowledge of a huge range of marine products. Able to think analytically with technical problem-solving
skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
· Good verbal and written communication.
· Proficient in MS office (website advantageous)
· Able to learn quickly and self-motivated with a clear sense of priorities
· A team player with a good work ethic and a positive attitude
· Engaging personable with confident interpersonal communication and skills to build rapport with people
What we offer
Full time role based in Auckland which operates from Monday to Friday
Competitive salary based on experience with a good work life balance-No weekend work except for boat shows a few times a year, generally local.
