Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively drive sales to achieve company targets.
• Manage an existing portfolio of trade customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and customers for the Harken Fosters brand.
• Develop and implement sales strategies for key accounts.
• Ensure efficient communication with customer service to deliver impeccable service to customers.
• Travel regularly nationwide to visit customers to build positive relationships and to achieve improved outcomes.
• Attend industry events to raise company profile and seek new opportunities.
• Assist shop staff when needed, which may include working on some Saturdays.

• Maintain a courteous approach and adhere to the Harken weather mark principles.

  Profile:

• Marine/sailing experience and skills are essential.

• Strong understanding of marine industry standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Experience in sales and technical roles.
• Problem-solving oriented with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in business software, including Outlook, Power BI and Excel (experience with Microsoft D365 is a plus).

• Knowledge within the Safety & Rescue / Height Safety market a plus.
